My name is Margareta Tripsa (I go by Margo Tripsa). I have been teaching for over a decade. Education has helped me embark on extraordinary journeys. Via Visiting International Faculty (VIF), a leading exchange program for teachers, I launched my career as an international educator. I have taught on 3 continents so far: Europe, North America, and Asia (Qatar). Currently, I work as the Curriculum and Assessment Director at an international school (American curriculum) in Qatar, Middle East. I have been enjoying the experience of teaching internationally tremendously!
I hold an MA degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) earned in the United States and an Education Specialist degree in Instructional Technology from Kennesaw State University, Georgia, U.S. Teaching is truly my passion. I really believe that students need to develop global awareness and possess a variety of skills in order to succeed in the 21st century. Therefore, teachers have the big responsibility to keep up with the quick societal shifts. I am very proud of being conferred the 2013 Global Educator Award. I knew teaching was my true calling the moment I started playing school as a child. I have a passion for outdoor activities, instructional technology; I love the sun, and the beach.
Thank you for reading my blog and I hope you’ll find here instructional resources that will truly enrich your instruction.
I also hope that my posts will always find you in great health and spirits!
